Courtesy visit by the deputy governor of Siem Reap to the city of Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.

Siem Reap Provincial Administration wished to have a face-to-face visit with the city of Abidjan on the occasion of staying in Côte d'Ivoire to attend a seminar organized by JICA.

JICA supported this endeavor by arranging the courtesy visit and meeting as part of its smart city activities (promotion of inter-city cooperation).

The Deputy Governor of Siem Reap paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor of Abidjan on March 1.

During the courtesy visit, Siem Reap Province expressed a desire to explore possibilities for cooperation, which was welcomed by Abidjan. It has been agreed by both parties to further define areas of potential cooperation in the future.

Promoting external cooperation is an important factor in boosting Siem Reap's smart city. We look forward to more cooperation between the two cities in the future.
