Kick-off meeting of the Siem Reap Smart City Consortium

Siem Reap Provincial Administration has been considering the establishment of a Smart City Consortium where various stakeholders can share their experiences and seek collaboration in the field of smart city, believing that collaboration among the public, private, and academic sectors is the key to developing a smart city.

On the 3rd of July 2024, the Siem Reap Provincial Administration held a kick-off meeting of the Smart City Consortium, inviting private companies currently doing business in Siem Reap, as well as academic institutions and development partners who have been involved in the Smart City project so far.

The kick-off meeting was held both onsite and online. Participants provided a number of positive comments on the future of the Consortium. Further discussions will be held among the stakeholders.
