Project Completion Notice

The Project for Implementation of Smart City Approach to Solve Urban Issues in Siem Reap, launched by JICA in May 2022, will conclude in May 2025 after three years of activities.

Aiming to implement the Smart City Approach to solve urban issues in Siem Reap, the project achieved the following results:

  • The Smart City Roadmap is formulated and cooperation among relevant organizations is established
  • Implementation process of the Smart City Approach is established through trial measures to solve urban issues
  • Establishment of a monitoring and evaluation system for the Smart City Approach
  • Promotion of the implementation of the Smart City Approach

These achievements will be carried forward by the Siem Reap Provincial Administration and applied to future urban management. We sincerely thank all partners for their support and cooperation.
