CDP Interviews (November 10, 2023)

In November 2023, individual interviews were conducted with nine officers of the Department of ICT Security of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) of Cambodia to prepare Career Development Plan (CDP) for each of them.
The CDP method, which was established through the Project on Capacity Building for Cyber Security in Vietnam, is used to create training plans. The CDP method is developed based on SecBoK*1 and assesses job classification and individual skills and develops a training plan for the individual accordingly. It also measures the impact of training through a six-monthly review and updates the plans.

In the future, an annual training plan will be formulated based on the CDP created for each officer, and training will be conducted in accordance with the plan.

*1 SecBoK (Security Body of Knowledge) is a human resource skill map in the security field created by the NPO Japan Network Security Association (JNSA). It shows the roles required for security operations and the corresponding knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA) needed for those roles.
