Holding of the 1st Joint Coordination Committee Meeting on The Project for Improvement Cyber Resilience in Cambodia (September 15, 2023)

The 1st Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) meeting was held on September 15, 2023.
The JCC was attended by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (the project implementing agency), JICA Headquarter, JICA Cambodia Office, and government agencies involved in cybersecurity in Cambodia (Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, National Bank of Cambodia, etc.).

At this first JCC meeting, the Chief Advisor and the team of JICA experts explained the background, framework, and future activity plan for the project implementation, which was agreed upon by the project stakeholders, including the heads of the implementing agency. The project will be managed in accordance with this agreed activity plan.

The JCC is the decision-making body of the project and a meeting of the parties involved in the project, including the heads of the implementing agency of Cambodia, JICA Headquarter, and JICA Cambodia Office, where progress is shared during the project implementation period and future plans are discussed.
