First Training: Comprehensive Cybersecurity (December 18, 2023)

A five-day customized training course was conducted for officers of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) of Cambodia from 18 to 22 of December 2023, in accordance with Security+, the entry-level certification offered by CompTIA, an international certification exam provider for information security. The training was attended by 8 officers from the Department of ICT Security, the main counterpart, and in total 20 officers from other departments including the ICT Policy Department, ICT Industry Department, and the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT).

The training covered a wide range of security fundamentals, including types of threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities; security technologies; secure architecture; access management; risk management; encryption and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). The project will continue to provide commercial training and customized training developed by the project based on the Career Development Plan.
