Three Referral Hospitals Receive Equipment to Support NCD Clinic Services

On December 18, 2025, the Noncommunicable Disease (NCD) Control Project provided essential equipment to three referral hospitals in Kampong Cham (Batheay Referral Hospital, Steung Trang Referral Hospital, and Koh Sotin Referral Hospital) Province to support the effective operation of NCD clinics.

Prior to the provision, the project conducted a facility-level assessment to review the availability and condition of existing equipment required for diabetes and hypertension services. Based on the findings, the necessary equipment was provided to these three hospitals to support routine NCD service delivery.

Hospital representatives highlighted that the equipment would support smoother clinic operations and help ensure that patients receive appropriate and timely care.

This activity reflects the continued collaboration between the NCD Control Project and the referral hospitals to strengthen NCD services at the provincial level to improve access to care for local communities.

As of this year, the NCD Control Project has supported six referral hospitals in Kampong Cham Province and plans to extend assistance to the three additional referral hospitals next year. This phased expansion will bring the total number of supported hospitals to nine, contributing to more consistent NCD services deliveries across the province.
