Kampong Cham PHD Strengthens NCD EMR Data Review for October-December 2025

On 5 February 2026, the Kampong Cham Provincial Health Department (PHD) held an NCD EMR Data Review Meeting covering data from October to December 2025, with participation from all Operational Districts (ODs), Referral Hospitals, and the Provincial Hospital.

PHD presented facility-level EMR data entry status by OD and facility, identifying incomplete or missing entries and facilitating discussion with the respective facilities. This was followed by a presentation of the comparative analysis of results for the May–September and October–December 2025, which was conducted with technical support from a JICA expert. The analysis confirmed improvements in data entry practices, as hospitals that had not entered data in the previous period began submitting data in the latter period.

The Provincial Hospital shared practical challenges in data entry, including high workload and limited computer capacity. Measures such as monthly data review meetings conducted by the NCD clinic team and requests for additional equipment support to PHD were introduced as part of improvement efforts.

OD representatives also reported common challenges, including parallel paper-based workload and limited human resources, and shared practical solutions such as routine internal data review and strengthened supervision.

The meeting provided an opportunity to promote regular data review and discussion at both provincial and district levels, contributing to the continued improvement of NCD program management and service delivery across Kampong Cham Province.
