Study Tour in Japan

From December 1 to December 6, 2025, the study tour in Japan was conducted by inviting key stakeholders involved in the project.
During the program, participants attended lectures and engaged in active discussions with representatives from Japanese ministries, automobile manufacturers, dismantlers, and related organizations. These sessions provided valuable insights into the background, structure, and detailed design of Japan’s automobile recycling system.
In addition, site visits to dismantling facilities and vehicle inspection centers were organized, allowing participants to experience Japan’s initiatives.
At the wrap-up meeting on the final day, participants expressed their strong commitment, stating that they would like to consider an ELV management system suited to Thailand’s context by drawing on the knowledge gained from Japan’s experience.
Although the study tour was conducted over a short period, it proved to be highly meaningful and beneficial for the project.
