On October 6, 2023, our project hosted the "Central Government System Protection Seminar." The seminar aimed to provide an understanding of the standards for protecting ICT systems managed by Japan's central ministries and agencies and to discuss necessary measures for protecting ICT systems overseen by various Mongolian ministries and agencies. A total of 63 officials, including State Secretory and finance directors from 25 ministries and organizations such as the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Energy, and Ministry of Health, participated.
Lectures were provided by JPCERT/CC on the framework for cybersecurity measures, and by NISC (National Center of Incident Readiness and Strategy for Cybersecurity) on Japan's unified cybersecurity standards. Additionally, MNCERT/CC (a private CERT organization operating in Mongolia) provided a lecture on the current state of cybersecurity in Mongolia.
