Conducted Cybersecurity Training in Japan
From February 14th to 21st, 2024, cybersecurity training was conducted in Japan. 14 participants, including directors of cybersecurity departments from Mongolian ministries and university representatives, visited Japanese ministry, cybersecurity collaboration organizations, and critical infrastructure companies. The aim was to understand cybersecurity measures in Japanese public institutions and to discuss necessary strategies for protecting the internal systems of Mongolian ministries and the critical infrastructure they oversee, with lectures provided for this purpose.
Participants learned about the status of guidelines and policy formulation for the protection of critical infrastructure (in the energy sector), methods of sharing and inter-organizational cooperation for cybersecurity incidents within the sector, cybersecurity measure training in critical infrastructure companies, the current state of cyber-attacks and cybersecurity law development, and tools for cybersecurity audits.
