Conducted course development and training: “Comprehensive Exercise: CSIRT”, “Comprehensive Exercise: SOC”, and “Malware Analysis”

As part of this project, three courses were developed and conducted training for instructors. These courses were based on the subjects developed and utilized in the Cybersecurity Human Resource Development Project in Indonesia, and were localized for Mongolia through curriculum development and training delivery.

■ Comprehensive Exercise: CSIRT (Cyber Security Incident Response Team)
This course focuses on acquiring practical skills related to Cyber Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRT). The training was conducted from December 16 to 20, 2024, with 20 participants from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, the National University of Mongolia, the Public CSIRT, and the National CSIRT.
Participants learned practical cybersecurity response skills including the establishment and operation of CSIRTs, incident handling, vulnerability management, SOC operations, awareness activities, and maturity assessments.

■ Comprehensive Exercise: SOC (Security Operation Center)
This course provides systematic knowledge and skills related to Security Operation Centers (SOC). The training was conducted from January 6 to 10, 2025, with 21 participants from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, the National University of Mongolia, the Public CSIRT, and the National CSIRT.
Participants acquired practical security operation skills such as SOC design and operation, threat detection, incident response, utilization of various tools, and threat intelligence.

■ Malware Analysis
This course offers practical learning on malware (malicious software) analysis methods. It covers foundational to advanced analysis techniques, tool usage, and the development of a safe analysis environment. The training was held on February 7, 8, 14, 15, and 22, 2025, with 20 participants from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, the National University of Mongolia, the Public CSIRT, the National CSIRT, and MNCERT/CC.
Participants learned static, dynamic, and automated malware analysis techniques, analysis methods using tools, and how to establish a secure analysis environment.
