The 3rd Meeting of the Technical Working Group for Outcome 2

The third meeting of the Technical Working Group for Output 2 took place on April 26, 2024, chaired by Mr. Lourenço Albino, CEO of EMTPM. The meeting focused on three main topics:

The analysis highlighted issues such as maneuvering conflicts for large buses and Chapas (minibuses) within and around the terminal, dangerous conditions for pedestrian and congestion during off-peak hours. Regarding GTFS development, the methodology and preparation for data collection and the schedules were discussed.

3) Counterpart training in Japan will take place from June 8th to June 22nd, 2024. The JICA Expert Team provided information on the topics to be studied in Japan for improvement of the public transportation in the Maputo Metropolitan Area.
