The Progress of JICA's Grant Aid Project for Flood Protection Phase 4

Rainy season has begun! Project for Flood Protection Phase 4 is on-going around northern Wat Phnom and Toul Kork areas towards the completion in 2021. For example, below activities is the construction of an underground reservoir under the public garden in front of CDC. It has a 142.5m length, 14m width and 4m depth, with storage capacity of 6,500 cubic meters. It is also equipped with a pumping station with the capacity of 1.4 cubic meters per second. After the completion of the project, this underground reservoir will help to resolve the inundation problem in northern Wat Phnom area.
