About Alumni Association

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) extends various forms of development assistance schemes to meet the diverse needs of the developing countries around the world. JICA's Training Programs is one of the technical cooperation schemes and JICA domestic centers receive training participants from all over the world to support the human recourse development of the target countries in many fields.
In 1957, Japan began receiving the training participants from Iran, and by the middle of 2023, the number of the training participants accepted under JICA programs had exceeded 3,856.
JICA Alumni Association of Iran was established in 1984 to build a link between the ex-participants of various training courses of JICA to strength and develop friendship ties and cooperation between Japan and Iran.
