Background of the Project :
Resolving the environmental issue is one of the important priorities in Kosovo on its orientation towards European integration process. Environmental issue was also identified as one of key development issues at the bilateral policy dialogue between the governments of Kosovo and Japan in 2009. At the request of the Government of Kosovo, the Government of Japan approved this project and JICA will start with its implementation in 2011.

- 1) To advise and to guide staff members of MEI and relevant institutions to plan their development strategy and to implement Japan's ODA
