JICA Kyrgyz Republic Chief Representative, Naoyuki NEMOTO, was invited to introduce JDS for TV show "Vecher trudnogo dnya" on TV1.KG Broadcasting Chanel. SPS Representative, Meder ISRAILOV, and JICA Program Officer, Burul IBRAEVA, took part as well.

Mr. NEMOTO shared the general information about JDS including its outline, target and selection procedure.

Mr. ISRAILOV shared his own experience of being a JDS fellow. Also he mentioned about the difference of Kyrgyz and Japanese mentalities, and told about how this experience influenced on his life. He also shared how to become civil and municipal servant.

Moderator expressed gratitude to JICA side for improving Kyrgyz Human Resource Development system in civil and municipal service and for making our country better.

The JDS program has been implemented in Kyrgyzstan since 2006. JDS dispatches potential young civil and municipal servants for study in 2 year master degree and 3 year doctorate degree programs in the leading Japanese universities. The program is implemented in English.
