Discover Kyrgyzstan: the first interactive touristic exhibition was held in Bishkek.

A key event for tourism, "Kyrgyzstan infinitely unique! Digital solutions for domestic tourism promotion" was held from 12th to 14th of February, 2021 in Bishkek.

The main purpose of the event was to present digital technologies for external and domestic tourism promotion.

Visitors could be guided to the fascinating places of Kyrgyzstan, to learn cultural heritage and sights of the country by browsing the unique 3D map, which was developed under the financial support of JICA,GIZ, and HELVETAS in cooperation with the Department of Tourism. 3D goggles were also prepared and visitors enjoyed dynamic images.

"In this difficult situation under COVID-19, I hope this IT solution promotes tourism sector and is useful for the people who remotely want to know more about what Kyrgyz culture is, how Kyrgyz nature is, and what the bases of the spirit of the Kyrgyz people are. This very realistic and beautiful 3D map induces people to visit the real sites to enjoy and feel the real Kyrgyz nature and history as well."-NEMOTO Naoyuki, JICA Kyrgyz Republic Chief Representative, mentioned.

"3D Kyrgyzstan" project is being implemented by with the Department of Tourism in cooperation with JICA, EU, Federal Ministry of economic cooperation and development of Germany, HELVETAS and Salymbekov Foundation. Project author - Maksat Konshaliev - founder of eco tours "Makstour", tourism experts.
