The first Joint Coordination Committee (JCC)

The first JCC was held on January 29 2024 with the participation of representatives from the Central Committee of Organizations of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CCOP) and representatives from the JICA Vietnam Office.

We reviewed the achievements and challenges of the two training programs held in Japan and a follow-up seminar in 2023 and discussed future measures. We also agreed on the activity plan for 2024 and revised the indicators of the Project Design Matrix (PDM) based on the results of previous activities.

Through four training programs in Japan and two follow-up seminars in Vietnam planned from 2024 to 2025, this project aims to achieve the goal of Vietnamese local leaders implementing public administration reform and urban planning in their localities with the knowledge and networks gained through this project.
