Training at Institute of Science Tokyo by Thai Researcher

As part of the project activities, Dr. Thawanrat Kobkeatthawin from Thailand will participate in a short-term training program in Japan for approximately two months starting in October 2025.

The training will be conducted at the Nano Space Catalysis Research Unit, Institute of Integrated Research, Institute of Science Tokyo (Prof. Toshiyuki Yokoi). During the program, practical research will be carried out on the synthesis and evaluation of catalytic materials (zeolites) for converting biomass-derived feedstocks into high-value chemical products.

Throughout the training period, Dr. Kobkeatthawin systematically learned laboratory-level research techniques, including optimization of catalyst synthesis conditions, methods for material characterization, and analysis of reaction data.

Building on the outcomes of this training, researchers from both countries will continue to collaborate in advancing research and development toward the sustainable utilization of waste biomass and its practical application.
