日タイの母子保健分野の特筆すべき経験を第11回母子手帳国際会議で発信

2018年12月12日から14日までバンコクで開催した第11回母子手帳国際会議の場において、”Universal Health Coverage for Children - Building a brighter future in which every child thrive”と題したパネルディスカッションを開催しました。パネルディスカッションでは、文仁親王妃紀子にもご臨席賜り、タイと日本の母子保健の経験と他の国の母子保健の向上にタイと日本がどのように貢献できるのかについて議論をするとともに、国連児童基金（UNICEF）とともに、タイと日本の母子保健の施策の特筆すべき経験を取りまとめたペーパーを発信しました。

GLO+UHCでは、今後もこのような国際会議の場を活用し、タイと日本以外の国々の母子保健の向上に貢献するための活動（Universal Health Coverage for Children and Mothers, U4C）の成果を共有するほか、他国から技術支援の要請に応じて日タイで母子保健の向上やユニバーサルヘルスカバレッジの強化・達成のための支援を実施していく所存です。
