7) Project Objective:

To promote economic and trade development by upgrading aircraft departure/landing safety and efficiency, as well as air cargo handling efficiency at Dushanbe International Airport.

8) Project Scope / Activities:

To construct Cargo Terminal;
To install Instrument Landing System (ILS) and Precision Alert Lighting System (PALS);
To provide cargo handling equipment;
To support in development of manuals related to cargo handling;

9) Expected Results:

Cargo Terminal is constructed and necessary equipment is installed;
Handling and accepting capacity of air crafts is enhanced;

The population of Tajikistan

11) Contributing to the NDS 2016-2030:

To ensure overcoming the communication deadlock and transforming the country into a transit point through:

Construction and rehabilitation of transport infrastructure;
Development of logistics for industrial zones aimed at economic growth, mainly through investment projects of national importance;
