Cooperation through citizen participation

Recently, in Japan , many and various stakeholders such as universities, local governments, NGO's are participating in the projects in developing countries. Many Japanese small business companies own effective technologies and products the developing countries. Responding to needs of society, JICA supports these organizations which intend to participate in international cooperation to resolve the issues faced by developing countries.

Volunteer Programs

JICA Volunteer Program involves Japanese citizens in socio-economic development of developing countries. Its mission is to contribute to inclusive development and to promote good will and international understanding.
