Public-Private Partnerships

Japan's technology changes the world

JICA has been working with Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) since 2008. The primary goal of PPP is to establish win-win relationships among developing countries, governments, private sectors, and ODA projects through strengthening its ties with the private sector and its businesses and rapidly improving and supporting private sector activities in developing countries.

PhotoJICA conducts ODA projects in over 150 countries and regions and has 15 domestic offices and nearly 100 overseas offices. Through the actual useful information and the broad network accumulated through ODA projects, JICA can support Japanese private companies seeking opportunities to enter the market in developing countries.
