Project Summary
Objective:
To reduce disaster risk and promote urban safety of Dhaka which shall be achieved through accomplishing advanced research conducted by Bangladeshi and Japanese institutes and universities
Outputs:
- 1 . understanding of building characteristics governing its performance,
- 2 . performance evaluation methodology of buildings against collapse,
- 3 . retrofit schemes for buildings with low performance and
- 4 . effective urban planning strategies for sustainable and resilient cities.
- 5 . contribution to the capacity development as well as the advancement of research for both Bangladeshi and Japanese research institute involved in the Project.
