| Job Duties | JICA Technical Coordinator in Montenegro (Consultant) | 
| The scope of work | (1) Conduct data collection for economic cooperation of other donors in Montenegro; (2) Conduct data collection of general information (politics, economy, security) in Montenegro; (3) Conduct translation of collected data and information into English; (4) Attend various meetings on behalf of JICA Balkan office, and submit records of the meetings based on instruction from JICA; (5) Conduct monitoring of on-going JICA projects in Montenegro and report to JICA Balkan office; (6) Provide necessary logistical and other arrangements to JICA visitors and stakeholders, including vehicle arrangement, hotel reservation, itinerary preparation, meeting appointments, and attend the visitors and provide English interpretation based on requests; (7) Assist in planning and monitoring of Follow-up activities (*); (8) Provide required assistance to JICA Alumni association in Montenegro; (9) Conduct PR activities for JICA Balkan office through media (distribute press releases, preparing articles of JICA activities, minimum once in two months) (10) Coordinate with relevant national and international stakeholders and provide advice on proposal development of Technical Cooperation, ODA Grants, ODA Loans and Private-Sector Investment Finance programmes; (11) Conduct pre-dispatch briefing for JICA Training participants and undertake related logistic tasks; (12) Coordinate with Embassy of Japan for Montenegro for JICA activities; (13) Conduct necessary procedure for VAT exemption and/or refund; (14) Manage the budget for the Technical Coordinator's activities and submit accounting reports in accordance with JICA regulations; (15) Set up and manage the Technical Coordinator's office in Podgorica; (16) Conduct other duties as assigned by JICA Balkan office management, *https://www.jica.go.jp/balkan/english/office/others/c8h0vm0000bfpaeh-att/followup.pdf  |

| Contract period | From 1st December 2025 to 31st March 2028* *The 1st contract period will be from 1st December 2025 to 31st March 2026 due to the end date of the financial fiscal year of JICA. However, the contract period can be renewed on the same conditions up to 31st March 2028 based on the performance of the consultant and the agreement from both JICA Balkan office and the consultant.  | 
		
| Qualification requirements | (1) Fluency in oral and written English; (2) Undergraduate degree; (3) At least 5 years of postgraduate professional experience in international development area, or at least one year of experience as JICA Technical Coordinator; (4) Understanding of JICA's scheme; (5) Excellent knowledge of development loan program or similar type of loans.  | 
		
| Remuneration | Expected remuneration range from 1200 to 1600 Euro/per month |
