JOCV engage in a Clean up Campaign

Environmental education and waste management volunteers organized a clean-up campaign at Riverwalk Mall on 21st October. The event was held in cooperation with Gaborone City Council and Riverwalk Mall. After the opening ceremony, they warmed up with Japanese aerobics and picked up litters around the mall. About 50 people took part in the one-hour litter picking and collected about 60 bags of litter. Finally, a Japanese dance was performed to thank to participants, and the first clean-up campaign came to an end.
