Calling African health businesses to apply to the AUDA-NEPAD HGS Accelerator

We are pleased to announce that the Home Grown Solutions (HGS) Accelerator, which is being implemented under the AUDA-NEPAD collaboration, started accepting applications.

Apply by the 31st of January 2022 to be part of the second cohort of the AUDA-NEPAD Home Grown Solutions Accelerator, designed to support growth and mature stage African companies in healthcare!

HGS Accelerator offer hands-on, highly tailored support in order to help each selected company improve and grow. HGS Accelerator are co-founded by the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), financially supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and are operated by the same with support from Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a premier global management consulting firm, and Villgro Africa, an experienced Pan-African impact investor and business incubator.

In order to qualify, businesses must:

  • 1 . Be a for-profit company at the growth or mature stage
  • 2 . Strengthen Africa's healthcare system
  • 3 . Be described as a Home Grown Solution
