Activities of JICA France Office

France is home to a number of international organizations, including the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD. JICA France Office takes part in meetings and discussions including those related to the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) of the OECD, the platform for coordination among donors and shaping policy recommendations on development cooperation, by sharing JICA's experiences and insights, as well as learning from the approaches of other donors. JICA France Office also promotes partnership and exchanges with bilateral donor agencies, including AFD of France and KfW of Germany. Such activities are indispensable for delivering on the common objectives of global development such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in an effective and efficient manner.

JICA actively engages in publishing information on its projects and activities. JICA France Office develops communication materials in French language for French-speaking countries such as Sub-Saharan African and Maghreb countries. It also provides back-up assistance to JICA Offices in Africa in case of security or medical emergency operations.
