Dispatch of the Mission Team and the 3rd Joint Coordinating Committee

From February 3 – 7, 2025, Dr. Kenichi Komada and Dr. Ikuma Nozaki, both from the Bureau of International Health Cooperation at the National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NGCM), visited Indonesia as a mission team. They visited South Sulawesi Provincial Health Office, Maros District Health Office, Community Health Centre, Public Health Laboratory, Hospital, and other facilities.

The 3rd Joint Coordination Committee was held on February 7, the final day of their visit.
In the meeting, activities and timelines for the remaining project period until August 2025, including suggestions and recommendations from the mission team, were discussed among relevant stakeholders, such as the Indonesian Ministry of Health, provincial health officers in the pilot provinces, and JICA.

Sustainable use and further expansion of project outputs across Indonesia are anticipated.
