[Call for Participants] NGO Matchmaking: Connecting Japanese and Indonesian NGOs for Sustainable Development

We are pleased to invite you to an NGO Matchmaking event that aims to facilitate collaboration between Japanese and Indonesian NGOs to address grassroots development challenges.

NGO Matchmaking will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, in an online format. This event will feature experience-sharing sessions from Kopernik (a Japanese NGO) and Yayasan CWS (an Indonesian NGO) as they share their experiences working with international organizations especially JICA. Interactive breakout room sessions will provide opportunities for cross-country discussions and networking.

We warmly welcome all NGOs and CSOs interested in building partnerships with Japanese NGOs and exploring potential collaborations to join us!

Target Participants:
Japanese and Indonesian NGOs, CSOs, and other entities engaged in international cooperation activities.

Participation Capacity:
This event is limited to 30 organizations of Japanese NGOs/CSOs and 30 organizations of Indonesian NGOs/CSOs. Up to two individuals may be registered per organization. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

• 09:40 – 09:55 WIB / 11:40 – 11:55 JST: JICA’s presentation about development challenges and the example of collaboration’s activities in Indonesia
• 09:55 – 10: 40 WIB / 11:55 – 12:40 JST: Panel Discussion (including QnA with participants) (30’ for panel discussion then 15’ for QnA with participants) 
• 10:40 – 10:55 WIB / 12:40 – 12:55 JST: JICA’s presentation about development challenges and the example of collaboration’s activities in Timor Leste.
• 10:55 – 11:35 WIB / 12:55 – 13:35 JST: Break
• 11:35 - 12:15 WIB / 13:35 – 14:15 JST: Matchmaking 1^st session thematic based (Participants will be automatically placed into breakout rooms based on the thematic group they selected during registration (e.g., Environmental, Education, or Health))
