Annual Needs Survey for JICA Technical Cooperation after Japanese Fiscal Year 2027
2026.07.12
The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) invites relevant ministries and organizations in Iran to identify and express their priority needs for future Technical Cooperation.
JICA’s Technical Cooperation is a tailor-made cooperation modality that supports partner countries in strengthening their capacity to address development challenges through their own efforts. It may include human resource development, technical training, expert advice, research and development, technology dissemination, policy formulation, organizational strengthening, and the development of institutional and administrative systems.
The Government of Japan is currently assessing Iran’s priority needs for Technical Cooperation to be considered for implementation after Japanese Fiscal Year 2027. The Annual Needs Survey is an important part of this process. It helps identify areas where JICA’s knowledge, experience, and technical cooperation can contribute to Iran’s national and sectoral development priorities.
Relevant ministries and organizations are encouraged to prepare and submit their requests using the prescribed Application Form. The Government of Iran will collect, review and prioritize the submitted requests in line with national priorities, and will formally submit them through the designated government channel.
Submission of a request does not guarantee selection or implementation. Submitted requests will be reviewed through the consultation and project formulation process of the Governments of Iran and Japan and JICA.
Application deadline: 3 August 2026
Interested ministries and organizations are requested to carefully review the Guideline for Application before completing the Application Form. Early preparation and timely submission are strongly encouraged.
