JICA Launches Project to Train Air Traffic Controller Instructors and Flight Procedure Design Personnel in the Kyrgyz Republic

On December 18, 2025, a Record of Discussions was signed between the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Kyrgyz Republic and the State Enterprise “Kyrgyzaeronavigation” under the Civil Aviation Agency of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The purpose of the project is to enhance the operational efficiency of air traffic management and route development procedures, which will contribute to improving safety and service quality in Kyrgyzstan’s civil aviation sector.

The Record of Discussions was signed by Mr.Nishigata Kotaro, Chief Representative of JICA Kyrgyz Republic Office, Mr.Torokeldi Omurov, Director General of the State Enterprise “Kyrgyzaeronavigatsiya”, and Mr.Kanat Tologonov, Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
