JICA Namibia invited Ms. Paulina Ningeni Pokolo, who will study in Japan as a long-term trainee under JICA's scholarship program “Human Resource Development and Human Network Strengthening in the Mining Sector for Sustainable Mining Development”, better known as the KIZUNA Program, to JICA Namibia office and held a meeting to encourage her.
Ms. Pokolo plans to study for three years in the PhD program at Graduate School of International Resource Sciences at Akita University.
The laboratory at Akita University currently has two senior research students from Namibia, and Ms. Pokolo said, “This will be my first time to live in Japan, but I am very excited and reassured by the presence of my two seniors.”
We hope she enjoys her studies, makes the most of her life in Japan and we wish her the very best!
