Alumni Spotlight - Strengthening Namibia through Knowledge & Partnership

We were delighted to welcome back Dr Charles Tuiuane KARITA, a JICA scholarship recipient who has successfully completed his PhD in Public Economics at Kyushu University, Japan
Dr Karita was part of the SDGs Global Leader Program (2021–2026), where he deepened his expertise in public economics to support sustainable and inclusive development.
He currently serves as a Policy Analyst at the Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Welfare, contributing to evidence-based policymaking that advances Namibia’s development priorities.
His journey reflects the power of international cooperation and capacity building in shaping leaders who drive meaningful change at home.
