A New JICA Volunteer Arrived!!

A new JICA volunteer has just arrived at Jacksons International Airport on March 5th.
Mr. Adachi is scheduled to move to City Mission Mirigeda New Life Skill Training Center on March 14th and will commence his activities for the Youths in the Center.

He is also expected to utilize his work experiences as a police officer in Japan, to teach the mindset of self-discipline and to motivate the youths to obtain useful skills through the programs in the center.

JICA Volunteer Program promotes the theme of “working together with the local community” hence, our volunteers come prepared to live and work at the grassroots level, speaking the local language and sharing knowledge as well as friendship ties between Japan and PNG.
