Desert Locusts Response

JICA recently handed over 22 motorcycles to Hon. Vicent Bamulangaki Ssempijja, the Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) to aid preparedness against the threat paused by the expected second cycle of Desert Locusts invasion in Uganda.

This is a part of JICA's contribution to the Desert Locusts response, which will also see the delivery of three heavy duty trucks in April.
