I am Saul Ndyabandiho, a Forest Officer from Uganda, and an enthusiastic participant in the JICA’s training on Sustainable Forest Management with Community Participation.

This unique opportunity unites forestry professionals from diverse countries to exchange insights and experiences. My journey includes discovering Japan's forest resource management, focusing on silviculture, erosion control structures, and incentives for private forests. It’s an interesting moment enjoying the beautiful scenery of forests and farmlands, and the Japanese culture.
