Target Groups National Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Programme (NRWSSP) of DHID, Provincial Support Teams (PST) and Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Unit (RWSSU) of District Local Authorities (DLA) in all Provinces
Purpose Operation rate of rural water facilities is improved
Activities ・Orientation and sensitization of stake holders on the NRWSSP and SOMAP O&M model
・Revise and update manuals and guidelines for sustainable operation and maintenance
・Support planning, mechanism establishment and implementation of project
・Training MLGH staff, Local Authority staff, Area Development Committee's and other stakeholders
・Collection and analysis of data on rural water supply and sanitation related matters in the respective target areas
・Provide technical advice and facilitate procurement of hand pump seed stock parts
・Monitoring and evaluation of project progress
