Activities in Jamaica

This is a technical cooperation project in water maintenance management and water quality management. It will provide organization strengthening assistance to Jamaica's National Water Commission to increase the efficiency and quality of the water supply.

At a special education school which is operated under the umbrella of the Jamaican Association on Intellectual Disability (JAID), volunteers are developing activities that will contribute to the health promotion and self-reliance of students. The activities will provide direct guidance to fellow educators on new teaching methods, class instruction and student needs in the fields of mentally retarded child education, carpentry, handcrafts and physical education.
