On November 22, 2022, the launching ceremony of the Tourist Destination of the Chui region "Altyn Sary-Ozon Chui" was held, where a tripartite Memorandum of Cooperation was signed among the JICA's Master Plan Project for Regional Development and Tourism Promotion through Utilization of World Heritage Sites in Chui Region, the Office of the Plenipotentiary representative of the President in Chui region and the Destination "Altyn Sary-Ozon Chui".

Within the framework of this Memorandum, the Parties agreed to take joint actions in promotion and implementation of joint projects, provision and exchange of information, organization and joint participation in scientific and practical conferences, forums, seminars, and interaction with public organizations and the expert community.

Project expert Hara Satoko, in her welcoming speech, emphasized two points; one was the high involvement of all stakeholders such as state and municipal authorities, representatives of local private businesses and activists from the local population, and the other was the desire to unite efforts for the joint development of the tourism sector in Chui Region.
