Message from the Chief Representative

Slightly moist and hot air peculiar to a tropical inland areas, cars randomly lined up on the road, strong backs of men at the construction site who dexterously scaffold on the reddish-brown fields, and the white glowing sky that continues to the horizon.

"This is the capital of Nigeria ..."

Get out of the crowds at the airport and breathe the African air for the first time in 20 years. It smells nostalgic.

Nigeria is one of Africa's leading powers in many respects: economy, population, history, society and culture. The room for development is immeasurable. Of course, there are many problems to be solved.

How can I contribute? I've been thinking about it for the past few months, but I'm too greedy to put exact priorities.

One day when I was in agony, I felt that gentle and soft voice that I loved listening to on the radio when I was a kid was heard out of nowhere.

"Imagine there's no heaven, no hell below us, above us only sky, imagine all the people Living for today.

Imagine there's no countries, nothing to kill or die for, no religion too, imagine all the people living life in peace.

Imagine no possessions, no need for greed or hunger, a brotherhood of man

imagine all the people sharing all the world."

(John Lennon "Imagine")

What if more than 250 diverse ethnic groups could share the blessings of Africa's richest nature together and build a peaceful society as one community?

What if 200 million populations, young powers with an average age of less than 20, could have equal opportunities to live in good health and realize their dreams?

What if we could double the production and income of farmers in rural areas, without leaving anyone behind, and create rich and comfortable villages?

What if we could create a special venture zone where entrepreneurs from Africa and the world gather, by taking advantage of Africa's leading human resources and network, huge domestic market, and flexible business environment?

Nigeria has endless possibilities.

It may be a small existence as one piece of the 200 million puzzles that will nurture the future of Nigeria, but I hope I can continue to illuminate a corner of Nigeria's enormous development landscape.
