SATREPSでの研究が海洋科学会議にて優秀発表賞を受賞し、タイ王女殿下より表彰されました

今般、九州大学のジャンダン・スパカーン助教授率いるタイ研究者との合同研究チームは、6月25日~6月27日で開催された第8回海洋科学会議*において、シーチャン島におけるマイクロプラスチック汚染に関する3つの科学論文（以下、1―3）の成果をまとめ、比較した結果を発表しました。
今回の発表では、参加者128人の中から最も優秀な発表者として選ばれ、シリワンナワリー・ナリラタナ王女殿下より『Excellence Research Presentation Award』を贈呈いただきました。また、海洋沿岸資源局長であるピンサック・スラサワディ博士より、「Distinction Presentation Award」を受賞しました。
当プロジェクトでは、引き続きタイ周辺の海洋プラスチック汚染解決に向けて、研究活動を行ってまいります。

*海洋科学会議は、タイの持続可能な経済における海洋資源の重要性への理解を深めるため、2008年から開催されています。2025年第8回は「SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION FOR A CHANGING SEA」をテーマに、タイ海洋科学学会、海洋沿岸資源局、ラジャマンガラ工科大学スリヴィジャヤ校の主催で開催されました。
