The project is benefiting business, commercial and industrial activities in Dard es salaam by supplying reliable power since April 2017.

About 40,000 customers were newly connected, while power loss from substations to customer's doorstep in Kinondoni municipality dropped from 16.4% to 7.0%.

The new Muhimbili substation enabled Muhimbili National Hospital to carry out more and safer operations without power interruptions. The first kidney transplant operation in Tanzania was successfully conducted in November 2017 following availability of stable and reliable power supply to the hospital

Before(2012)/After(2019) project, access to electricity would be increased 13%.

Before(2012)/After(2019) project Length of power outage would be shortened 12%.
