Photo Exhibition

The exhibition dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the activities of JICA volunteers has been received with great interest by the public. So, on November 4-13, 2017 with the recommendation of the Executive Committee of the JICA volunteers another exhibition was organized at the Memorial Museum-Garden named after Kamoliddin Behzod.

The Exhibition included 75 photographs captured during the work of the JICA volunteers at their workplaces, which gave a good opportunity to get acquainted with JICA volunteer's activities wider.

On November 4-6, 470 people visited the opening ceremony of the event. The chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, Mr. Akmal Nuriddinov and the Japanese Ambassador, Mr. Nobuaki Ito made speech at the opening ceremony.

Besides, the guests were introduced with Japanese traditional culture such as Ikebana, calligraphy and dance. In addition, they had a chance to try Japanese national dish "Chirashi-Zushi". Participants could attend master-classes as origami, kimono wearing and Ikebana.
