JICA's Priorities in Uzbekistan

1. Aim: to increase income level of the population in rural areas (especially farmers) and improve their livelihood, JICA supports agricultural product diversification and improvement of productivity. JICA's assistance in this area is targeted not only to the assistance physical infrastructure such as irrigation system, but also to technical assistance for efficient water management, the improvement of cultivation technique and so on.
