Knowledge Co-Creation Program (KCCP) Continues to Soar in the Midst of COVID-19

Introduction

The world was faced with unprecedented times, with the emergence of COVID-19. Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)'s Knowledge Co-Creation Program (KCCP) was not spared, as some programs had to be postponed and where in the past, participants could travel to Japan for courses; they now had to rely on virtual platforms. Such was the case for the KCCP Basics of Solid Waste Management (C), scheduled to take place in Japan from 8 June to 4 July 2020. The course was postponed and then took place through distance learning (from 12 January to 31 July 2021) and online learning (from 14 September to 24 September 2021). Thus, in spite of the challenges and new mode of learning, KCCP continues to soar in the midst of COVID-19.
