The PReCaRI has a project's document

The Government of Japan, through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), is committed to supporting the State of Burkina Faso in the implementation of the Capacity Building Project for the Revitalization of Irrigated Areas (PReCaRI) in the Central and South-Central Regions.

The overall objective of the project is to "contribute to the revitalization of irrigated areas through capacity building of implementing actors. More specifically, the project aims to "conduct diagnostic studies of problems related to irrigated perimeters in the Centre and Centre-South regions and strengthen the operational capacities of implementing actors".

In order to have a project document that complies with the regulations in Burkina Faso, a workshop for the elaboration of the said document took place over two weeks, respectively from January 23 to 28 and January 30 to February 4, 2023 in Koudougou, with all the stakeholders in the Center-West Region.
