Signing of Record of Discussions on Technical Cooperation Project with Rwanda: Support for enhanced management services at rural water supply

On June 10, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a Record of Discussions with the Government of the Republic of Rwanda in Kigali for the Project for Rural Water Supply Services and Infrastructure Management Development, a technical cooperation project.

The project aims to improve the rural water supply system in seven eastern provinces through improvement in planning and management, skills in the operation and maintenance systems, expansion and rehabilitation planning, and the community’s water resources management. The project will contribute to the achievement of SDGs Goals 3 and 6.

Specific project details: To enhance the management services for the rural water supply
Specific project details (provisional) To enhance the management services for the rural water supply including community water resources, the project provides training for management of the water supply system and planning for its expansion or rehabilitation.
