On September 16, 2022, members of Japanese expert team of the "Project for capacity development for the revitalization of irrigation areas" arrived. The project will be implemented based on the Agreement signed between JICA and the Government of Burkina Faso in April 2022. Targeting Central Southern region and Central region, this project aims to strengthen the capacity to repair, manage and maintain irrigation facilities.
